Long-standing Hanover Management Committee member is honoured with knighthood
Professor Geoff Palmer, member of Hanover’s Committee of Management has received a knighthood in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List.
Geoff, who is Professor Emeritus at Edinburgh’s Heriot-Watt university and a tireless anti-racism campaigner, was Scotland’s first ever black professor and has been given the honour for his services to human rights, science and charity.
